Luster glazes are a dynamic unpredictable glaze with silver and bismuth that produce fascinating iridescence when fired in reduction after the glaze firing. No two pieces come out exactly the same. Luster glazes look different depending on the lighting and are at their most beautiful in indirect light. A considerable effort was made to photograph pieces accurately, but because of lighting and monitor settings pieces may appear differently in person.
